Aikido owes its existence to the flexibility of O'sensei

In the classic Chinese, Tao Te Ching says there is something to be written by Lao Tzu around the 6th century B.C., a poem that can tell a lot about the virtues of flexibility.

Men are born soft and supple;

Dead, they are stiff and hard.

The plants are born soft and flexible;

Dead, they are brittle and rigid.

Who is rigid and flexible so it is a disciple of death.

Who is soft and performance is a disciple of life.

The hard and rigid always will be broken.

The soft and flexible will prevail.

In one of my previous articles, I have touched on flexibility theme and how counts it for a lot in especially in the aspects of the execution of aikido techniques. In this article, I have more to discuss on the flexibility, and at this time, I have come to realize that aikido is a lesson in flexibility.
